Our knowledgeable team of orthodontists have extensive education and experience in dental and orthodontic care. They are members of the American Association of Orthodontists and American Dental Association, along with countless other individual contributions to dental organizations. With years of education followed by advanced certifications in specialities in their field, the orthodontists at Precision Orthodontics are dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate care through a variety of dental services for kids and adults.

    Dr. Dahye Joo , DMD, MSD

    Dr. Dahye Joo is a dedicated orthodontist based in Columbus, known for her passion for creating beautiful smiles and enhancing her patients' confidence. She earned both her undergraduate and post-graduate dental degrees from Case Western Reserve University, where she developed a strong foundation in orthodontics.

    Dr. Joo specializes in orthodontics and takes great pride in the positive impact her work has on her patients' lives. She finds immense joy in seeing the happiness and boosted confidence that come with a new smile.

    Outside of her professional life, Dr. Joo enjoys spending quality time with her family, especially her husband and baby girl. She is an avid cook, painter, and fitness enthusiast. A self-described homebody, Dr. Joo loves the simple pleasures of family life. In addition to English, she is fluent in Korean, allowing her to connect with a broader range of patients.

    Dr. Joo is committed to providing the highest level of care to her patients in Columbus, ensuring that each person leaves her office with a smile they are proud to share.

    Dr. Kevin Hallgarth , Orthodontist

    Dr. Kevin Hallgarth was born and raised in Kansas. He attended the University of Kansas and obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri in Kansas City. Following dental school, he remained in Kansas City to complete a one-year general practice residency at a local hospital.

    Dr. Hallgarth taught in the periodontics department of his dental school in Kansas City. He went on to complete his orthodontic residency at Loyola University in Chicago before moving to Northeast Ohio with his wife. Dr. Hallgarth practices orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics in Ohio.

    He and his wife have four children. In his free time, he enjoys attending his children’s events and spending time with his family, along with jogging, bike riding, and attending church functions.

    Dr. Brandon Luckett , Orthodontist

    After a childhood spent in St. Louis, San Antonio, Houston and Johannesburg, South Africa, Dr. Brandon Luckett earned his Bachelor of Science degree in physics at Morehouse College. He then went on to attend Texas A&M University, Baylor College of Dentistry for his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Luckett completed his general practice residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. From his time there, he has extensive experience with surgical dentistry in the hospital setting, including reconstructing fractured jaws and treating patients for life-threatening dental infections.

    Dr. Luckett practiced general dentistry for three years in the Houston area before returning to New York to complete his orthodontic training at NYU Langone. During his residency, he gained

    further experience treating a variety of different malocclusions including those that needed surgical intervention.

    Human interaction is Dr. Luckett’s favorite part of working in health care. He loves having the opportunity to learn from different people and listen to their experiences as he helps them toward their orthodontic goals. Dr. Luckett thrives on positive energy and hopes to pass that on to all patients working toward a healthy smile. 

    Dr. Luckett’s hobbies include playing tennis, watching football, and traveling internationally, especially to beach destinations.

    Dr. Sherif Morcos , Orthodontist

    Dr. Morcos earned his Bachelor’s in Dental Medicine and Oral Surgery, Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine at Cairo University; his Masters in Orthodontics and Faculty of Dentistry at Suez Canal University; and an additional Masters in Orthodontics from Case Western Reserve University.

    After attending a Joint Supervision Program, Dr. Morcos earned his PhD in Orthodontics. He then completed a Clinical Orthodontic Craniofacial Fellowship through the University of Illinois and continues to broaden his education on the following topics: DSD digital smile design, Invisalign, 3D digital workflow, Micro Implant Anchorage Orthodontics (MIAO), and the DAMON system.

    Dr. Morcos is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, International Association for Dental Research, American Association for Dental Research, American Dental Education Association, American Cleft Palate and Craniofacial Association, Egyptian Orthodontic Association, Charles H. Tweed International Foundation, Cleveland Society of Orthodontics, and GLAO Great Lakes Association of Orthodontics.

    Among his list of memberships, Dr. Morcos also has a long list of accomplishments, including making the final list in 2010 and 2011 for the Charley Schultz Resident Scholar Award on American Association of Orthodontics annual session. Dr. Morcos was also selected as a chairperson at multiple events (Distraction Osteogenesis, Orthognathic Surgery section -April, 2009 Miami Convention Center; IADR/AADR/CADR 87th General Session and Exhibition – April, 2009.) He also participated in the 20th Clinic and Research Day, (February 2007) through University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Dentistry. There, Dr. Morcos was awarded 1st place in the literature review category for “Perception of Attractiveness of Well-Balanced Lips.” (Sherif Morcos, Manisha Sisodia, Patricia Alves, Zhao Linping, Pravin Patel, Adriana Da Silveira.)     Dr. Morcos’ background has given him a diverse outlook and experience in his education and professional life. He moved to Cleveland, OH in 2017. Spending time with his wife (Fiby) and son (Chris) is something he enjoys most. Singing, travelling, and watching soccer games are also activities that Dr. Morcos enjoys.

    Dr. Moshood Martins, fondly called Dr. Mo by patients, is a native of Houston, Texas. His mission to serve the world with a better smile began after graduating from the University of Houston, where he played Division I basketball for the Cougars. He went on to pursue a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University College of Dentistry and later a master’s degree in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics from Seton Hill Center for Orthodontics.

    Dr. Mo enjoys enhancing the lives of both adolescents and adults, one smile at a time, through comprehensive orthodontic care. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, American Dental Association, and National Dental Association. In addition to his years of schooling, Dr. Mo volunteered his time and dental services to those who have limited access to dental care in Uganda, Africa. His appreciation for kids further led him to volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters. 

    His passion to create more opportunities and spread access for students in higher education inspired him to develop a scholarship fund in the name of his mother to dental students at Howard University.

    In his leisure time, Dr. Mo enjoys spending time with his family and friends, working out, experiencing different cultures, and mentoring youth.

    Dr. Brett Crell

    Dr. Crell earned his undergraduate degree from The Pennsylvania State University, his dental degree from The University of Texas School of Dentistry and he earned his orthodontic degree and did his residency at The Seton Hill Center for Orthodontics. He is a Board-Certified Orthodontist. 

    Dr. Crell loves seeing the change in a person’s confidence, as their true smile is revealed throughout treatment and ultimately when the braces or aligners come off. He also enjoys staying on top of the latest research and findings in orthodontics and gets excited about learning how to integrate existing standards of excellence with new methods and technologies. 

    Dr. Crell loves all racket sports. Pickleball is his current obsession, however, he played tennis competitively growing up and is always game for a challenge!
