Our knowledgeable team of orthodontists have extensive education and experience in dental and orthodontic care. They are members of the American Association of Orthodontists and American Dental Association, along with countless other individual contributions to dental organizations. With years of education followed by advanced certifications in specialities in their field, the orthodontists at Precision Orthodontics are dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate care through a variety of dental services for kids and adults.
Dr. Kevin Hallgarth
Dr. Kevin Hallgarth was born and raised in Kansas. He attended the University of Kansas and obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri in Kansas City. Following dental school, he remained in Kansas City to complete a one-year general practice residency at a local hospital.
Dr. Hallgarth taught in the periodontics department of his dental school in Kansas City. He went on to complete his orthodontic residency at Loyola University in Chicago before moving to Northeast Ohio with his wife. Dr. Hallgarth practices orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics in Ohio.
He and his wife have four children. In his free time, he enjoys attending his children’s events and spending time with his family, along with jogging, bike riding, and attending church functions.
Dr. Lucas McGuire
Dr. Lucas McGuire earned his undergraduate degree from Gannon University, received his dental training at the University of Pittsburgh, and went on to complete a Master of Science in Dentistry and Orthodontic Certificate at Case Western Reserve University.
Dr. McGuire is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles through early orthodontic intervention, prevention-focused treatment, expansion techniques, and non-extraction approaches. He enjoys working with children and adolescents and values the opportunity to make a positive impact during an important stage of their growth and development.
What Dr. McGuire enjoys most about orthodontics is the energy and enthusiasm of his younger patients, which keeps his work both rewarding and inspiring. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and snowboarding.
Dr. Menaka Tandon
Dr. Menaka Tandon, DDS, MS, is a dedicated orthodontist at Precision Orthodontics in Boardman, Ohio. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University before completing her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the UCLA School of Dentistry. Dr. Tandon continued her advanced training at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, where she completed her orthodontic residency and earned a Master of Science in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.
Passionate about creating healthy, confident smiles, Dr. Tandon is committed to improving every step of the orthodontic experience. Her professional focus is on maximizing patient comfort and esthetics while minimizing treatment time whenever possible. She enjoys the unique challenges each case presents and values the blend of art, science, mathematics, and creativity that orthodontics brings to patient care.
Outside of the office, Dr. Tandon enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog and cat. She loves hiking, reading, listening to music, and exploring new foods. In her downtime, she can often be found watching a romantic movie or catching up on her favorite reality TV shows.
Dr. Tandon is fluent in English and Hindi.
Dr. Margaret Rosen, DMD, MS
Dr. Margaret Rosen is dedicated to helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles through exceptional orthodontic care. She earned her undergraduate degree from Duquesne University before receiving her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Rosen further advanced her education by earning a Master of Science degree and Certificate in Orthodontics through Marquette University Orthodontics.
Passionate about transforming smiles, Dr. Rosen finds the greatest reward in orthodontics is helping patients build self-confidence and creating beautiful, lasting results. She is committed to providing personalized treatment plans and ensuring each patient has a positive experience throughout their orthodontic journey.
Outside the office, Dr. Rosen enjoys staying active through weightlifting and yoga. She also loves spending time with her husband and their two bulldogs. In her free time, she can often be found enjoying reality television shows and true crime documentaries.
Dr. Teodora T. Bonney, DMD
With nearly 30 years of experience in private orthodontic practice, Dr. Teodora Bonney is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, beautiful smiles through personalized, practical treatment solutions. She earned her dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine after completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. She then continued her advanced education by completing an orthodontic residency at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.
Throughout her career, Dr. Bonney has developed particular expertise in treating complex orthodontic cases, including impacted teeth and orthodontic concerns related to airway complications in children. She is committed to creating treatment plans that not only deliver excellent results but also fit comfortably into her patients' daily lives. Her goal is to make orthodontic care as effective, convenient, and rewarding as possible.
Dr. Bonney's passion for dentistry began at an early age. After experiencing difficult dental visits as a child, she was inspired by a compassionate dentist who became both a role model and a source of encouragement. Fascinated by orthodontics, she spent time studying orthodontic models in the office and knew by the age of seven that she wanted to pursue a career in dentistry. Today, she continues to bring that same enthusiasm and dedication to every patient she treats.
Known for her warm, patient-centered approach, Dr. Bonney values building lasting relationships and working closely with patients to ensure a positive experience from start to finish. She believes that successful orthodontic care is measured not only by outstanding results, but also by the confidence and satisfaction patients feel throughout their journey.
Outside the office, Dr. Bonney is a proud mother of four and enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She can often be found supporting her college wrestler twins, hiking in nature, knitting, cooking, reading, and learning new languages. In addition to English, she speaks Romanian and Hungarian and has knowledge of several other European languages.
Dr. Gardette Hutton
Dr. Gardette Hutton received her Doctor of Dental Surgery and Orthodontics Certificate from the University of Central Florida. She received additional training at Bronxcare Hospital and was a dentist in the U.S. Navy from 2017-2021.
Her favorite part about being an orthodontist is helping her patients achieve the smile of their dreams through Invisalign and Sure Smile. She enjoys dentistry because she gets to meet people from all walks of life and help improve their quality of life. She feels dentistry is extremely rewarding and fun to do!
Outside of work, Dr. Hutton enjoys traveling, CrossFit/weightlifting, basketball and music concerts.
